Wilberfoss Under-15s topple Ripon 1-0 in Girls’ Football League
WILBERFOSS Under-15s toppled hosts Ripon 1-0 in the City of York Girls’ Football League.
Foss, sponsored by Jorvik Construction, turned in their best display to end Ripon’s run of three straight wins and 26 goals.
Wilberfoss went ahead after eight minutes through Emma Nelson and with Alex Harvey, Ellie Fitzmaurice, Syd Greening and goalkeeper Georgie Stanton excelling, held out.
