MATTY MULHEARN fired in four goals as Dringhouses hammered Haxby Town 10-0 in the York FA Under-19s Cup.

Fellow marksmen Tom Hawksby (2), Sam Lake (2), Liam Robertson and Tom Matthews joined him on the scoresheet.

After an even opening ten minutes, Hawksby made the breakthrough with a deflected 20-yard free-kick and then added a second when his cross from the touchline cannoned in off the far post.

Lake went on to drill in a low shot at the end of a great move to send Dringhouses into the interval three goals to the good and one-way traffic followed in the second half.

Wigginton Grasshoppers won 3-0 at home to Acomb Celtic with Sam Jeffrey, Callam Blackstone and Jack Hardisty on target.

Reuben Young fired in five goals as Rawcliffe defeated York RI 8-3.

In the U16s Senior Minor Cup, Josh Thomas struck four times in Tockwith’s 11-0 win over Tadcaster Albion.

There was a hat-trick apiece for Liam Pearson and Jack Atkinson as Poppleton Tigers beat Strensall 15-2 and further trebles from Joe Adams, Jack Wells and James Wiseman in Easingwold Town’s 14-0 thumping of Pickering Town.

In the U12s Cup, Beanie Robinson’s late winner saw Rawcliffe Tigers edge a five-goal thriller at Poppleton Panthers.

Luke Jones’ hat-trick helped Huntington to an 8-1 success over Easingwold Town and Stamford Bridge’s Henry Kay and Dan Barker scored in each half to tame Fulford Tigers.

Strensall Tigers won 8-0 at Elmpark with Harry Cahill enjoying a four-goal haul.

In the U11s Cup, Hamilton Panthers Yellows beat Haxby Town Harriers 15-0 with their tally including a hat-trick of own goals and trebles from Ben Thornton and Jack Varley.
