MAN-OF-THE-MATCH Corey Littlefield struck the winning goal as Thorpe United Under-15s lifted the Barkston Ash FA U16s Cup.
Littlefield's second-half winner in the final against Garforth Villa keeps alive Thorpe's hopes of a league and cup double.
The youngsters will win the Garforth Junior League division one title if they earn a point against Horsforth St Margarets Earthquakes in their final game tomorrow.
The Barkston Ash final was a tight affair, with Littlefield and Jamie Hardaker going close in the first half as Villa's defence held out.
The winner stemmed from a Richard Buckthorpe corner, which was met by Jordan Emery. His shot was beaten out as far as Ben Clowes, but he found Richard Buckthorpe and his cross was turned in at the near post by Littlefield.
