Tykes skipper launches kids coaching drive

PRO Coach Yorkshire Cricket – the official coaching partner of the Yorkshire County Cricket Club – are running pre-season courses aimed at young players.

Through training programmes and skill drills designed by Yorkshire captain Andrew Gale, the courses challenge players to improve their technique with the use of video analysis.

Gale, Pro Coach co-founder, said: “Whatever skill level you are, from first-time junior to experienced adult or junior, Pro Coach guarantees its cricket coaching will benefit each player technically, mentally, physically and also improve their confidence.”

Courses are held at the Yorkshire Indoor Centre, at Headingley, in Leeds, while coaches also hold sessions in areas such as York and Harrogate.
