YORK lifted the York & District Junior Cricket Association Quality Solicitors Burn & Company U11s Incrediball Cup.

Favourites York batted first against Londesborough Park and made 118-4, with Alex Try-Banton hitting 30 not out and Max Wilkinson making 23.

Wilkinson shared a partnership of 77 for the fourth wicket with James Hamilton (9). Guy Strong, of Park, ended with figures of 2-2.

A partnership of 63 between Daniel Prescott (22) and Tom Clegg (6) led the Park fightback.

Cameron Luck (2-10) and Alex Try-Banton (2-13) restricted Park to 87-5.

In the semi-finals, Tom Yeomans had made 16 to help Londesborough Park post 125-2 against Wheldrake, for whom Samuel Pickering took 1-16.

Wickets from Clegg (1-2) and Prescott (1-0) kept Wheldrake behind in the run chase and saw Park into the final.
