SHERIFF HUTTON BRIDGE continued their run of victories as they consolidated second spot in division one of the Quality Solicitors Burn & Company Under-11 Championship with a win over York.
With the bat, Bridge’s Isaac Giannini hit 25 not out and Theo Smerdon 12. With the ball, Giannini, Billy Burgess and William Guyer all took two wickets.
Just five runs separated victors Clifton Alliance from Acomb ‘B’ in division two. Jack Boyes top scored for Clifton with ten, while Harry Oaten made 11 for Acomb.
James Cardy and Charlie Buckle were among four Yapham batsmen to make it into double figures in their win over Clifton Alliance.
For Alliance, Joseph Baker made 11 and Dan Stevenson took 2-13.
