Bolton Percy kept out in front of the U9 Development League zone ‘C’ after an away win over Drax in which M Thomas made 39 and O Appleyard-Coles 22.

For Drax, Sam Thornton hit 21.

They also beat Yapham with Appleyard-Coles making 32no and Thomas 19. Ed Cardy made 12 and had figures of 0-4 for Yapham.

Wheldrake consolidated their lead at the top of zone ‘D’ after beating Ovington.

For Wheldrake, there were runs from Oliver Lambert (19no), Samuel Pickering (17no), Andrew Murtagh (15no) and Ben Contoret (14, plus 1-11).

For Ovington, Noah Lovat made 12no and took 1-21.

Zac Blower (13 and 0-1) supported by 11 from Joe Bartlett, ten from Ned Samuels and 1-5 from Noah Morgan were enough to see Ovington take the points against Bolton Percy Girls.
