A 21-STRONG Team Jorvik squad, pictured right, won 30 medals at the inaugural Beverley Barracudas ‘A’/’B’ grade meet.

Zak Moorcroft led the way with six gold medals, while Emily Hill won gold in the 100 metres breaststroke, silver in the 50m breaststroke and bronze in the backstroke, while also clocking five personal bests.

Jess Buckton won a gold and a bronze - a feat matched by Joan Clayton - while Georgia Kemp garnered three bronze medals, a silver and a gold, plus four PBs.

Aidan Fothergill won a medal of each colour and Rhiannon Wood won two silver medals, with Astrid Mawle and Maya Appleyard winning a silver apiece.

Joe Senior and Antonia Bunyan won silver medals and Will Holmes claimed a bronze medal, while Joseph Neary-Lamond scooped two medals.

Amy Clark bagged a gold medal and her sister Fay took a medal in the 100m freestyle.

The club’s other competitors were Patrick Neary-Lamond, Phoebe Holmes, newcomer Joe Callin, Imogen Wood and Maximus Mawle.

Finally the 11 and 12 year old 4x50m freestyle team of Wood, Clark, Holmes and Mawle, came sixth, while the 13 and 14 year old team of Wood, Bunyan, Clayton and Buckton came second, narrowly missing out on gold.
