BASEMENT side Stillington claimed their first win of the York FA Under-19s Football League campaign at the 20th attempt.
Stillington beat hosts York RI 6-3 to end a 19-game run without a win, a sequence comprising three draws and 16 defeats.
Mick Long, John Machin and Dan Hickey netted for RI, but Stillington responded with two goals from Ryan Gale to add to strikes by Adam Douse, Matt Malkin, Oliver Hopwood and Dan Dickinson.
Fulford went down 4-0 at home to Acomb Athletic, with Tom Nyred, Luke Addison, Josh Shepherd and Alex Day on target.
Next up for Stillington are visitors Wigginton tomorrow, while Acomb host Haxby Town and Rawcliffe travel to York Cubs.
Unbeaten leaders Dringhouses host Wilberfoss tomorrow.
