STUDENTS from Thirsk School scooped nine medals and awards from an area gymnastics competition.
The over-13s team of Louise Barton, Amelia Foxley, Ellie Waters, Alisha Dodsworth and Abbie Waters were overall area champions.
They also won a number of individual medals, with Barton taking gold for the floor and vault, and Foxley winning bronze in the overall competition.
The under-13s team of Shannon Bielby, Fay Hartley, Katherine Armstrong, Rebecca Webster and Alicia Cox won silver in their category.
There were individual medals for Bielby, who won silver on the floor and vault, and Hartley, who won gold on vault.
The mixed pairs team of Ellie Waters and Toby Agar won a bronze medal in their category.
The coach of the team said: "All the students did their very best and were an excellent representation of the school."
