Bubwith moved into third place after Paul Blackett and Anna Longthorp led their side to two wins against Rufforth and Stamford Bridge.
However, both Rufforth and Bishopthorpe bounced back with wins against Copmanthorpe.
At the top of division one, York beat their second-string, while an unbeaten Fulford eased past Wetherby Castlegarth, who fell into the automatic relegation spot.
David Lloyd already have one hand on the division three silverware after beating nearest rivals Rowntree Park led by unbeaten Andy Holmes and Frances Mutter.
Rowntree Park moved into second place after a close match with promotion rivals Fulford.
Bishopthorpe lead division six managing to win after only two rounds in a rain-affected match against Dunnington to keep a six-point gap between themselves and second-placed Wigginton, who eased past Appleton Roebuck.
Wilberfoss are hot on their heels after winning two matches. They were led by Matt Poole and Michelle Helme at Cawood, while John Huffington and Ros Latham won all three rubbers 10-2 against Tollerton.
It’s all to play for in division seven as the three clubs in the promotion places all won again.
Sutton-on-Derwent’s Zac Los and Jane Pearson won 30 games against Wheldrake, while Tom Hitchenor and Fiona Lambert scored 31 games at Tadcaster.
Just one point separates the top three clubs in division nine, where David Laws and Denise Reilly ensured the win at Cliffe and then shared the points with previous leaders David Lloyd.
David Lloyd’s win against Wistow keeps them in the mix.
Dunnington regained division ten’s pole position after top scorers Nick Lee and Rosie Todd sealed a 10-2 win over Sutton-on-Derwent.
Kelvin Riches and Helen Williams also won 10-2 to ensure Bishopthorpe stayed in the frame with a win at Bubwith.
Unbeaten Dan Russell and Claire Hildreth lept Rufforth 3 six points clear in division 11.
Second-placed Dunnington lost to Bishopthorpe, despite the best efforts of Alex Bentley and Linda Molloy, who won 29 games.
Doug Strachan and Fiona Vickery won 27 games for Appleton Roebuck over Alne.
