DAVID Lloyd York have won two of their opening three fixtures in the National Premier Tennis League.
The side enjoyed 3-1 home victories over Puma Sunderland and David Lloyd Teesside, before going down 3-1 to regional favourites Virgin Active Sunderland.
The York team is led by chief coach Marius Barnard, the former Wimbledon player, and also includes talented local juniors Sean Evans and Will Spencer, in addition to University of York player Ben Dyer.
York’s next match is at home to North Yorkshire on Sunday, January 8 (1pm).
The national finals will be held from April 11 to 15.
