POCKLINGTON have been relegated from the top flight of the Fulford Ladies Invitation Tennis League.
Pock went down 64-44 at Fulford in their final game, consigning them to division two.
Appleton Roebuck snatched the division three title after a last match shoot-out with previous leaders Wigginton.
Ann Mead and Denise Crane won 27 games for Wigginton, but Chris Howat and Amber Hickman sealed a 56-52 win with an 11-1 success in their final match-up.
Starbeck beat Rowntree Park 79-29 to extend their winning run to three matches, but they failed to avoid the drop to division four.
They will be replaced by David Lloyd, who beat Cliffe 64-44 to clinch the second promotion spot alongside division four champions Dunnington.
Knaresborough’s 100 per cent record in division five was extended with a 57-51 win over second-placed Copmanthorpe.
Sue Couture and Julia Lamb won 27 games for Knaresborough, while Cop’s top scorers were Julie Wood and Juliett Neylon with 21 games.
