ALL the silverware is still up for grabs with only three weeks remaining in the IT Sports Mixed Tennis League season.

Unbeaten Heworth are still favourites for the division four title after a win over promotion rivals Appleton Roebuck. Nick Milner and Louise Haritakis won their second round rubber 10-2.

Appleton then bounced back with a two-game win against York to remain one of three teams battling for promotion.

Ian Crowther and Jane Pemberton opened with an 11-1 win for Cliffe to ensure a victory against David Lloyd, taking them second on games difference.

Wilberfoss are third after Dan Poole and Bev Tebbutt started with a 12-0 to grab the points against Poppleton.

Sean Haggerty and Charlotte Worsman top-scored for York at Riccall. The bottom four clubs are separated by only one point.

Poppleton are edging closer to the division one title after a win against Wetherby Castlegarth, while chasing York beat Castlegarth and York 2.

Four teams are still in the hunt for promotion behind leaders David Lloyd in division two.

Poppleton have joined the chasing pack with good wins against Rufforth and Dunnington but then lost to Bubwith.

John Anderson and Hilary Spencer top scored in all three.

Greg Ashcroft and Charlotte Mitchell were unbeaten for Dunnington in their first win against York.

Three wins in a week have lifted Stamford Bridge into top spot in division three. They beat Sherburn, then Robin Bedford and Elaine Hilton scored 28 in a win over previous leaders Fulford and finally they recorded a two-game win against third-placed Copmanthorpe.

Unbeaten Tom Craddock and Wendy Cook have kept Fulford in the second automatic place with a win at Sutton-on-Derwent. Fulford need only one more win to take the division five title after they beat Cawood.

Promoted Stamford Bridge need one more point in division seven to grab the trophy after a victory over Tadcaster. Sam Goodall and Eve Brady won 30 games for Tadcaster.

Rufforth are the new leaders of division eight, while promotion is wide open in division nine.
