A NEW netball club has started for young people with a learning or physical disability.
The Netballability club takes place at York Railway Institute sport ground in New Lane every Monday, from 6.15pm to 7.15pm.
Caroline England, York's disability sports coach, will lead the sessions, which are open to any young person aged from eight to 19, with a learning or physical disability.
This is the first netball club of its kind in the region and, once established, the aim is to arrange fixtures with other regions.
For more information, phone Val French, special schools sports co-ordinator, on 07795 465862, email valfrench_ssco@hotmail.com or turn up at the next session.
