Allerthorpe Park Golf Club’s Helmsley Cup was won by Shane Wagstaff, Michael Moss and Josh Hill.

Their 79 points total was one better than their nearest challengers in the 18-hole stableford team event where the best two scores count on each hole. Second on 78 were Gordon Kelly, Charlie Emsley and Neil Savage, three clear of the third-placed team of John Eborall, Neil Smith and Iain Charlton.

Club captain Andy Barrett thanked John and Julie Eeles for sponsoring the half-way house and Joan Worth for helping at the half-way house.

Accepting the Helmsley Cup from John Eeles, Michael Moss said: “Many thanks to the Helmsley Group for their continued support and particularly to John and Julie Eeles.”
