Updated: A LEVEL-PAR weekend earned York’s Simon Dyson a share of 20th place in the Volvo Golf Champions tournament in South Africa.

Having played the opening two rounds in one-under-par, the 33-year-old carded back-to-back rounds of 73 at the Fancourt course to sit alongside Darren Clarke on the leaderboard.

Yesterday, Dyson fired three birdies in five holes to reach the turn in three-under, but he dropped four shots coming home against a solitary birdie at the par-five 13th.

Branden Grace won the title after a three-way play-off.
