TWO British Olympic Gold medallists, a British World cycling champion and a flock of international riders return to Beverley this month for a three-day cycling weekend.
About 70 riders will race in the National Circuit Race cycling championships on Friday, July 16.
The next day, 500 riders will cycle on the Yorkshire Wolds as part of the Big G sportive event and on the following Sunday, 140 top racers will take part in the East Yorkshire Classic race.
Hull Athletics Club is also hold a its five kilometre running race on Friday. Michael Boyle, the event’s media chief, said: “These events promoted by Hull Thursday Road Club become bigger and better every year.”
