Bowls: Moss gathers title

The last of New Earswick IBC’s league finals saw Margaret Moss’ triples overwhelm Janet Wakes’ team 25-9, while, in the men’s triples, Rob Dunnill’s won 20-16 after taking the lead with a five on the fifth end.
Trophies and prizes were presented by president Terry Shepherdson and chairman Ray Blogg. The knockout trophies were presented by Phil Taylor from York Co-operative Funeral Care, sponsors of the singles events.
