Crucial fortnight for shot put star Scott Lincoln

RISING City of York Athletics Club shot put star Scott Lincoln is facing a crucial fortnight of competition.
The teenager will this weekend be aiming to add the national outdoor under-20s title to the indoor crown he won earlier this year when he competes in the UK U20 Championships in Bedford.
Lincoln is trying to qualify for the World Junior Championships in Barcelona and has been handed a last chance to reach the standard of 19 metres at the Aviva 2012 Olympic Trials in Birmingham from June 22 to 24.
The Great Britain junior squad is selected on June 25.
