Athletics: Scott Lincoln’s GB call-up

CITY of York Athletics Club thrower Scott Lincoln will make his Great Britain debut in next weekend’s under-20s Loughborough International.
The 18-year-old will compete in the shot put, stepping up to GB level after impressing for England in recent months.
Coach Paul Wilson hopes the Loughborough event will be a stepping stone towards this summer’s World Junior Championships for his highly-rated charge.
This weekend, Lincoln is taking part in the County Championship in Barnsley.
