Athletics: Smiles for Harman at Trail Race

THIRSK & Sowerby Harrier Alan Harman was among the 277 finishers of the Meanwood Valley Trail Race over seven miles, clocking a time of 63 minutes and 41 seconds to finish 129th.
Less than 24 hours later he competed in the Dandancer 10k at South Shields, over a flattish course overlooking the sea in the area of the Great North Run finish.
Of the 214 runners who completed the course, Harman was home in 52-15, Ian Codling 61-04 and Marian Codling 69-59.
