Euro chase for triathlon trio

Three York Triathlon Club members are setting their sights on doing well at this weekend’s European Age Group Triathlon Champs in the Israeli resort of Eilat.
Martin Harman (40 to 44 category), Matt Rylatt (50 to 54 category) and Stephanie Robertson (40 to 44 category) all qualified for the event at various qualifying races last year. Their winter training will be put to the test for this important early race in the season when Harman and Rylatt take on the standard distance event covering an open water 1,500 metres swim, 40 kilometres bike ride and 10k run.
Robertson will tackle the sprint distance event covering an open water 750m swim, 40km bike and 10km run.
