City of York Athletics Club ace Richard Buck
CITY of York Athletics Club star Richard Buck clocked a season's best indoor time in the 400 metres at the Sainsbury's Indoor Grand Prix in Birmingham today.
Buck won the domestic 'B' final in 46.09 seconds, ahead of Michael Bingham, to enhance his chances of selection for the Great Britain 4x400m relay team for next month's World Indoor Championships in Poland.
The Great Britain team for the World Indoor Championships will be confirmed on Tuesday, with Buck expected to earn at least a 4x400m relay place.
