YORK angler Paul Kozyra won a weather-affected match on Horseshoe at Raker Lakes.
The York Joinery rod topped a field of 24 anglers with a 65lb haul from peg 30.
His net included all carp to 4lb, caught on mainly 8mm bread punch, with odd fish on corn feeding caster and sweet corn fishing at 16 metres.
Second place went to Leeds’ Oliver Hewitt, with 45lb 1oz from peg six, while Kevin Hey, of Leeds, was third from peg 18 after scaling 30lb 15oz.
Leeds trio John Chapman, Stuart Wilson and Lee Brayshaw took the minor placings.
The latest round of the York & District Winter League will be held on the River Ouse at Donkey Woods, Fulford and Palace Ings on Sunday.
