THE York & District Winter Angling League resumes on the River Ouse on Sunday.
The first league fixture of 2012 will see anglers fish the Donkey Woods, Fulford and Palace Ings stretches of the Ouse.
Meanwhile, all York & District Amalgamation of Anglers match tickets for the forthcoming season are now available in York tackle shops.
Match applications from outside the city can be made by phoning match secretary Terry Pinder on 01904 629126.
The entry fees for the First Sunday Open and the Championship of the Yorkshire Ouse have been raised to £15, while all other fees are unchanged.
British Waterways will carry out Selby Canal towpath tidy up days on February 18 and March 24.
Any anglers interested in volunteering to help out should email amalgamation honorary secretary Bob Hutchinson at ydaa.angling@yahoo.co.uk
