A TOUCH of Christmas cheer will be spread by the York & District Amalgamation of Anglers on Sunday.

The amalgamation are staging their annual Christmas Cheer contest on the River Ouse below York.

The draw will be held at St Clement’s Working Men’s Club at 8.30am.

The following Sunday – December 4 – sees the amalgamation hold their Animals Hospital Cup on the same stretch of river.
