STAN HAIGH was the winner of the under-70s section in the York & District Amalgamation of Anglers’ Jack Cross Trophy at Laybourne Lakes.
Haigh weighed in with 15lb 8oz from peg 15 on Brown’s to beat P Stephenson, who had 14lb 10oz.
Kev Keane was third with 13lb 12oz.
The over-70s category was won by Barry Richardson, who caught 8lb 6oz from peg five.
Dave ‘Doc’ Findlay was second with 7lb 8oz, and third place went to Keith Schofield with 6lb 8oz.
The contest attracted a field of 36 anglers.
