THE York & District Amalgamation of Anglers were forced to cancel last weekend’s Tadcaster Tower Rose Bowl match due to a lack of entries.
Officials were disappointed with the low number of anglers the River Ouse event attracted.
The Acomb Tackle York & District Winter League will be fished at Donkey Woods, Fulford and Palace Ings on Sunday.
Barleycorn Scholes AC will stage a match at Laybourne Lakes’ Brown’s pool on Sunday, using pegs 20 to 36.
