In division three, Colin Dickson led Holgate ‘E’ to an 8-2 success over RI ‘G’.

In division four, leaders RI ‘J’ thumped RI ‘H’ 8-2 as David Dunn and Richard Morris were unbeaten.

Keith Stott and Jan Suchecki helped Bootham ‘F’ to a 9-1 win at Hartrigg Oaks, while Thornton-le Clay picked up a 9-1 win over a depleted RI ‘K’ and Aviva ‘B’ overcame a weakened RI ‘I’ 7-3.

University ‘C’ edged home from a two-man Bootham ‘F’, for whom Jan Suchecki was undefeated, but they crashed 9-1 to Holgate ‘F’, who had Len Watson and Pete Waring to thank.
