TEAM Jorvik swim squad chief Graeme Taylor has been appointed team manager for the Yorkshire Disability Sport Events squad.
Ulleskelf-based Taylor, who has been involved in competitive swimming for almost a decade, will work alongside Chris Armstrong, the Amateur Swimming Association’s regional development coach for disability swimming.
Taylor was a founder member of Team Jorvik and was part of the team who assisted Darren Burchell, Team Jorvik’s head coach, to set up the club back in 2007.
Burchell said: “We are so pleased and proud Graeme has been asked to join the DSE team.”
