Team Jorvik swimming club have appointed Adam Milner as their new assistant head coach.
He has recently graduated from Swansea University having achieved a 2-1 (Hons) Bsc degree in Sports Science.
Modules included sports nutrition, sports physiology, kinanthropometry and health related exercise along with a dissertation which examined physiological profiles of elite swimmers, lifesavers and triathlete’s.
The study contained examples from world championship medallists, British record holders and British champions.
Hailing from Copmanthorpe, Milner swam competitively from the age of nine competing at county (Yorkshire) and district (North East Counties) level representing York City Baths Club, Tadcaster and Harrogate.
Latterly he swam for Swansea University in the British University championships.
