YORK City Baths Club ace James Wilby rounded off a successful Commonwealth Games with a sixth-placed finish in his 50 metres breaststroke semi-final in Glasgow.
The 20-year-old Strensall swimmer was unable to repeat his earlier feat of reaching the finals of the 200m and 100m breaststroke as he clocked 28.60 seconds in the second semi, placing him 11th of the 16 competitors.
However, the Loughborough University student has impressed in his first major international championships, placing sixth in the 200m final and seventh in the 100m.
