STRENSALL swimmer James Wilby has bagged two fourth place finishes at the British Gas Swimming Championships in Glasgow.
The 20-year-old Loughborough University student clocked a string of personal best times en route to the finals of the 200 metres breaststroke and the 100 metres breaststroke.
The York City Baths Club ace shaved three seconds off his PB in the 200m when he clocked two minutes 12.69 seconds to be ranked fourth after the heats.
He then lowered his best mark to 2-11.38 to claim fourth in the final.
Wilby was again ranked fourth after the heats of the 100m, swimming 1-02.12, and he recorded a PB of 1-01.24 in the semi-finals. Fourth place in the final was achieved with a time of 1-00.84.
Wilby competes in the 50m breaststroke on Sunday.
