WORLD number 150 Neil Cordell heads the field for this week’s York and District Squash League’s York Open.
Wigginton-based Cordell is a strong favourite to take the title at York’s Clifton Park, although he is expected to be challenged by number two seed Chris Rusling, of York RI.
Other leading entrants are Dunnington’s Matt Stephenson and Ed Shannon, of University Students.
The final will be played on Saturday.
