Mitre ‘A’ win Sunday Pool League Team Knockout final

MITRE ‘A’ retained the Spectacular Driveways John Smith’s Sunday Pool League Team Knockout after coming from behind to beat Dringhouses ‘A’.
Dringhouses took the lead through Lisa Macdonald, but Graham Worcester levelled before wins from Nigel Macdonald and Alan Horner put ’Houses into a commanding 3-1 advantage.
Captain Phil Bean started the Mitre comeback after his opponent went in off on the black and that was followed up by wins from Glenn Day and Jeff Hinds.
The winning frame came from Day as Mitre recorded a fine 5-3 victory.
