SECOND-PLACED Dringhouses ‘A’ went down 6-3 to Mitre ‘B’ in the Spectacular Driveways John Smith’s Sunday Pool League.
Raff Ingreselli won two frames for Mitre as they came back from 3-1 down.
Castle Howard Ox beat bottom side Dick Turpin 6-3, while Dringhouses ‘B’ beat Crystal Palace ‘B’ 8-1 to heap pressure on the top two.
Wins for John Patrick and John Crowe mean that ’Houses are closing in with games in hand.
Fulford Arms lost 5-4 to Crystal Palace ‘A’, whose tally included a double from Martin Ackroyd.
