CRYSTAL Palace ‘B’ hit back from behind to beat lowly visitors Dick Turpin 5-3 in the York John Smith’s Sunday Pool League.
Dick Turpin swept into a 2-0 lead, but Palace fought back to lead 3-2.
Adam Clark completed a double for Turpin, but Steve Dunning put the home side back in front and the last frame went to the reliable Steve Oakland.
A brace from John Patrick could not help Dringhouses ‘B’ as they lost 6-2 to visitors Shoulder of Mutton, who were aided by doubles from Paul Kendall and captain Ian Jones.
Leaders Mitre ‘A’ cruised into a 4-1 lead at home to Castle Howard Ox ‘B’ with Dave Catlow winning both his games. But the visitors took the last three frames, including a double from Mick Gibson.
