SUCCESS at the Legions Thai Club in York is growing apace.

Two of the Fifth Avenue-based club’s roster of fighters won their bouts at a show in Sheffield.

Mike Wood gained a points decision over Andy Campsall of the AFK Gym in Sheffield, while Gav Tuohey stopped Barnsley’s Andy Stevenson (Dil Sun Gym) in just 40 seconds of the first round of their contest.

Next up for the Legions Club is a British title outing for current area title-holder Ian Houillebecq.

He won the WRSA Thai 62- kilogramme crown on York’s Cage Confrontation III bill in July.
