CUEBALL’S Tracey Farmeary fired an 18-dart leg, including a maximum, in a victory against close rivals Slip ‘B’ in York John Smith’s Ladies Darts League division one.

Sisters Jayne Janes and Bev Harton also added to the tally.

Cygnet moved into second place after polishing off all the pairs to beat Slipper 6-3, with Dawn Exton hitting the tons.

Clifton were prevented from a full house by Flag ‘A’ captain Chris Hedley. Colleague Sharon Neads hit the tons, but the vital double evaded her, while Carole Layne hit a maximum for the victors.

Acomb’s Rose Gray closed 80 in the pairs with Sarah Rankeillor, but Burnholme had already secured victory.

Ox came away from Tiger with a 6-3 win, despite a 22-dart pairs leg from Tiger’s Kate Liddle (118, 100) and Ruth Howden (100).

Tap cemented their second place in division two with a resounding 7-2 victory against Shepherd ‘B’.

Woolpack, led by captain Doreen England (127, 117), won by the same margin at Severus.

Leaders Beeswing won all the pairs to come away from Shepherd ‘A’ with a 6-3 result.

Flag ‘B’ defeated Burton by the same margin to keep tabs on the top two with a match in hand.

Cueball ‘A’ raced into a 3-0 advantage at Seahorse ‘A’. Mags Formstone and Michelle Kelly narrowed the gap before Audrey Carling and then Joan Hunter and Sue Smith sealed victory.

Rosie Hattee closed 66 in the deciding pairs with Caroline Rattray to seal victory for Tramways ‘B’ against their ‘A’ team.

Division three front-runners Seahorse ‘B’ dished out a lesson in finishing to close rivals Severus.

Leeman ‘B’ pair Shelagh Kenny (140) and Colleen Cunliff sealed victory against Jubilee.

Swan duo Elaine Glenister and Kerry Brown secured victory against Leeman ‘A’.

Shoulder beat Walnut Tree, with Jacqui Richford and Vicky Gilligan getting the decisive win, while Beagle snatched victory over Sun.
