TADCASTER-BASED Falcon had no answer as Tramways ‘B’ won 7–0 to regain top position in the York Mixed Darts League.
Solid games from Steve Smith (3 x 100) were backed by Lynn Thompson and Jill Reed to put Tramways eight points clear after close rivals Severus Social Club lost 5-2 to Golden Slipper.
Dean Cairns and Baz Storr stopped the white-wash against Severus, while Phil Smith added 20 and 25 for Golden Slipper. He was well supported by Paul Partridge and Doreen Johnstone.
Sandra Bruce and Chris Bullen starred for Railway Institute in a 5-2 win over Tramways ‘A’ for whom Floss Crampton excelled.
