CITY Supporters captain Tracey Farmeary was the dominant force at the York John Smith's Ladies Darts League finals night at Tramways.

Farmeary won the individual final, the triples crown and the captain and vice-captain trophy to be awarded the player of the finals gong, while she missed out in pairs final in tandem with daughter Natalie.

After a tentative start to the individual final against Tramways' Sue Lowery, Farmeary hit scores of 81, 100 and 140 then a double 15 checkout for a 19-darter.

In the second leg, Lowery had no answer to her steady scoring and a double 18 checkout sealed the title.

Farmeary took her excellent scoring form into the captain and vice-captain final, where she partnered Bev Harton against Five Lions duo Michelle Britton and Dawn Exton.

Britton opened the 701 encounter with a 125, but Farmeary followed with 81 and 100. Britton responded with a 140, matched by the City Supporters skipper.

Britton hit a 95 and Exton added a ton, but they struggled with their finishing and Harton checked out on 25 after Farmeary had just missed a 101 bull closure.

In the second leg, two tons from Farmeary gave the City pair a commanding lead. Good scoring saw the Lions pair close the gap and, after squandering winning chances, Harton sealed victory with a double 12 outshot.

In the pairs, Natalie Farmeary's nerves showed in the opening leg against reigning champions Sarah Jackson and Sharon Neads of Burnholme WMC.

The first leg went to a double one shootout, where Neads closed out.Tracey Farmeary started with a 121 in the second leg and then hit a 140.

The Burnholme pair hit back with a 140 from Neads and 120 from Jackson, but their finishing deserted them and Tracey Farmeary closed on tops.

She then fired two tons in the decider, but Nead clinched the title with a double 16 shot.

In the triples, Farmeary was joined by Lynne Clapham and Tina Platt to take on Magnett trio Denise Fowler, Flossy Crampton and Sue Tate.

Clapham and Fowler hit tons in the opener and Farmeary an 80 before checking out double four.

The second leg was nip and tuck all the way down to a double one face-off, where Clapham eventually located the double.

The trophies were presented by John Smith's representative Sarah Buckle.
