RAMPANT Burnholme dished out another York John Smith’s Ladies Darts League division one drubbing to visitors Severus ‘A’.

Sharon Neads started the ball rolling for Burnholme with a 91 checkout.

Colleague Caroline Whittaker closed on 77 with a bull shot in an 18-dart pairs leg with club captain Marj Pearson. Sarah Jackson hit two tons in the rout.

Jo Hodges gamed in 23, which included scores of 136, 118, and the captain gamed 24 arrows as Tramways had victory sewn up within the singles at Marcia ‘A’.

Di Moreland was the home team’s lone singles success before Clair Cooper and Babs Harrison combined to double their tally.

Tracey Farmeary was again in ton mode as leaders City Supporters were prevented from a full house by Edinburgh’s Amanda Bevan.

Michelle Britton, Anne Bass, Lynn Thompson and Dawn Exton ensured Lions entered the pairs with a 4-2 advantage against visitors Slipper whose Karen Smith and Elaine Metcalfe starred. Bass and Exton sealed victory before Britton and Thompson adding to the score line.

In division two, leaders Severus ‘B’ reinforced their position as Jan Stewart, Ann Meek and Dot Sellars gave them a 3-0 advantage.

Green Tree bounced back when Margaret Forth, Sandra Flintoft, Alison Buckley levelled before the club side came on strong for a 6-3 win.

Nella Majsterek and Nicki Johnson did the same job for Ox after visitors Sun had Angela Fletcher, mother and daughter Alice and Chris Turgoose setting them up with a 3-0 advantage before Majsterek kickstarted Ox’s fight-back.

Marcia Grey captain Maggie Bedingham and Tracey Scurr sealed victory at Burton Club.

Turpin, with two players short, put up a brave battle at Leeman, whose Debbie Witts and Denise Pittock edged them to victory.
