LEADERS City Supporters were in supreme form as they whitewashed Marcia ‘B’ in division one of the York John Smith’s Ladies Darts League.

Tracey Farmeary gamed in 21 darts after a 116 checkout of treble 20, 20 and double 18.

Team-mate Tina Platt fired a two-dart 75 out-shot and Lynne Clapham closed on 68 in two darts.

There was a two-dart 80 checkout for a 24-dart leg by Lions’ Jill Reed, but hosts Marcia ‘A’ recovered to win 7-4.

The teams were all square going into the pairs, but Carol Perrett and Sandra Winters put the home team in front.

Michelle Britton hit 137 and 100 to set up a decider, which saw Babs Harrison and Clair Cooper seal the win for Marcia.

Division two front-runners Jubilee had a free week and the chasing pack took advantage.

Severus ‘B’ replaced them at the top despite being pushed close at Leeman.

Margaret Schofield and Denise Pittock edged Leeman into a 4-3 lead, but Linda Goldsmith and Wendy Storr levelled before Dot Sellars and Michelle Kelly clinched the match.

Green Tree moved within striking distance with a victory at Sun.

Tracey Scurr scored 171 with three treble 19s for Marcia Grey but her side were undone by some superb finishing from visitors Shoulder.

Woolpack pair Chris Patterson and Vicky McClaren snatched match points in a deciding leg against Turpin.
