I CAN sympathise with York golfer Simon Dyson when, after his magnificent Irish Open win, he then had a disappointing first round in the World Golf Championship event in America.
A few weeks ago, my mate had a 62 while mine came to 77, but we then played a little better on the back nine.
Mind you, Allerthorpe Park Golf Club is a tougher par 70 than Akron, Ohio.
