First of all many congratulations to the players, the supporters and the board of our beloved football team on reaching Wembley for the second time in our history.

Have you noticed I haven’t included Martin Foyle because I personally don’t believe he is the right man for the job with very good reasons.

I am a season ticket holder and have been to some away games as well this season and I believe we will get relegated under this manager.

He states that we play 4-3-3 when, in fact, we play 7-0-3. Andy McWilliams full-back, Simon Rusk full-back, and Levi Mackin just in front of the back four – that’s our so-called midfield.

If he wants to play players wide left and right, why does he not pick players that play in that position?

There is Simon Russell who has made a few appearances as a sub and he runs his heart out when on the pitch.

Then we come to Liam Shepherd, a York born and bred player who has started one match when Neil Redfearn was in charge.

Since Mr Foyle came we haven’t even seen him and Liam wants to play for his home town club. It’s in his heart.

There will be no point in having a youth set-up because the players won’t get a chance under the current manager unless they were born in Wrexham or have played for Wrexham.

So I am sorry to say I don’t hold much hope of us staying up.

Andrew Wood, Stuart Road, Acomb.
