BEING a rugby fan, the Rugby League World Cup and the union internationals against the southern hemisphere nations have been both entertaining and enlightening.
The two codes both have their different priorities.
As a handling enthusiast, I offer to the union fraternity this advice to improve their game and make it more exciting and enjoyable to both players and spectators:
• Do away with the line-outs, mauls and rucks.
• Reduce the value of a penalty goal.
• And finally, to create more space for the backs, only have six forwards per side.
