A PAIR of York kickboxers have won four major titles between them in just over a month.
Jamie Kirby and Dan Morgan, from Long's Black Belt School in Acomb, came away from a fight night at Essex Civic Hall with a belt each.
Kirby, 24, won the World Kickboxing Organisation 5 Nations full-contact title against Irish fighter James Kelly on a unanimous points decision.
Morgan, who, like Kirby, has trained at Long's for around 16 years, claimed the WKO English full-contact title against Matt Geere, also on points.
Last month, both were also present at the International Sport Karate Association fight night at Hammerwich Cricket Club, near Birmingham.
Kirby won a five-round fight with a technical knockout three rounds in to claim the British title against Ethan Lee, while Morgan saw off Anthony Byrne to bring home the English title.
