MALTON & Norton Golf Club pro Simon Dyson will be hoping to kick on again tomorrow (Thursday) after getting in the money at the D+D REAL Czech Masters.

Dyson had missed the cut by just one shot at the previous Made In Denmark event but, this time, he played through the weekend at the Albatross Golf Resort in Prague, picking up 2,600 euros.

It could easily have been more but for a five-over-par final-round 77, which saw him slip to joint-60th. He had earlier carded rounds of 70, 73 and 72.

The York-born European Tour veteran, struggling for consistency in recent times on the back of longstanding wrist problems, now goes to the Omega European Masters at Crans-sur-Sierre GC in Crans Montana, Switzerland, starting tomorrow.

The Czech Masters was won by two shots by South African Haydn Porteous at 13 under par, bagging him 166,000 euros.
