EVER-IMPROVING Malton & Norton Golf Club starlet David Hague added more England Amateur Order of Merit spoils after bagging a leading finish in the Berkshire Trophy.
The 72-Hole competition was played over both the Red and Blue Courses at Berkshire GC.
A field of 120 played 36 holes on day one, with 40 making the cut to play over 36 holes for the title the following day.
Hague fired a level-par 72 on the morning round on the Red Course and a one-under-par 70 in the afternoon on the Blue Course to qualify for day two.
The two rounds that day were played over the Red Course with Hague scoring a very impressive 68 followed by an even better 67, giving him a third-placed finish.
Hague is now fourth in the England Amateur Order of Merit and sits at 202 in the world amateur rankings.
